Source of lightLED is the most effective source of light. FL 2000 is equipped with one single LED 2000 lumen which provides cold white light and 10 000 hours of permanent usage. Optimized light beam gives the angle +/- 5° and clear center spot for effective signalization.
ElectronicsFL 2000 has the best of its forerunners: intuitive handling like the flagship FL 3000, long running time like the FL Smart, 3 power levels... As the new and great feature we added the elaborate electronics that doesn't warm the head up. Variable 3 mode power levels allow divers to customize light output and burn time. The first turn of the magnetic ring in any direction switches the light on 200 lumen mode that can be used on the surface safely. Another turn in clockwise direction switches the light into the half power 1000 lumen which is excellent in murky water. Third turn with the magnetic rings starts the full power mode that produces a brilliant 2000 lumen tight beam.
Design & MaterialThe casing is made of heat treated aluminum alloy resistant to corrosion and salt water. The surface is anodized with hard eloxal coating that is very durable and resistant to abrasion. The magnetic ring stops in accurately defined positions when changing the light modes. The robustness of the light construction determines the usage in extreme conditions. FL 2000 in SHORT version is the reliable primary light well usable for all dives. Especially in sidemount diving you can enjoy the freedom of cord free operation!
Li-Ion technologyLi-Ion batteries are ideal source of energy for the LED. The electronics protects the batteries against the discharging and the clever charger against the overcharging. The batteries has no memory effect that means you can leave them on the charger during the night. Li-Ion batteries provides enough capacity for the long running time keeping the lamp small sized and lightweight.
