The He/O2 Analyzer is a precision instrument for measuring the concentration of oxygen, nitrogen and helium in diving breathing gases. It is an essential tool for technical divers using nitrox and trimix mixtures.
The DIVESOFT analyzer is characterized by high accuracy and reliability thanks to its innovative solution for measuring helium content. This technology works on the speed of sound principle and is developed and patented by DIVESOFT, which means that there is never a need to change the helium sensor as with other analyzers.
Another advantage of the DIVESOFT analyzer is the multitude of features and accessories. The analyzers have a built-in calculator for mixing gases, can be connected to a compressor to monitor oxygen concentration during continuous filling with alarms (a relay can also be wired to automatically shut down the compressor when critical values are exceeded), and with the help of plug-in modules, electrical voltage and resistance can be measured. This is particularly useful for determining the state of charge of dive torches and scooters or the condition of the bulb/bulb.
This analyzer can detect defective air if it is a hypoxic mixture and no inert gas other than nitrogen is present. In this case, it warns with the word "FOUL AIR". This feature represents a major safety advantage over other analyzers on the domestic and international market.
HOW DOES IT WORK? The instrument uses a standard electrochemical oxygen sensor to detect the oxygen content. The helium content is detected based on the speed of sound, each gas has different sound propagation properties depending on its density. The instrument generates sounds (clacking sounds) which propagate through the gas-filled labyrinth and are picked up at the end by a sensitive sensor. The measurement accuracy is +/- 1%
HOW DOES IT USE?The analyzer has many sophisticated features, yet is very simple and intuitive to use. You put one of the flow restrictors on the bottle valve, start the analyzer, and it displays the oxygen and helium content in percentages.

The standard flow restrictor works on the principle of a throttling nozzle. Its flow rate is therefore dependent on the pressure in the cylinder. The higher the pressure, the greater the flow rate. It is thus suitable for divers to check the mixture before a dive. Features.
