GRADE 1 - SOAKING: SPLASHING

Stage 1 is recommended for children over 6 months old, but commonly includes children as young as 3 or 4 years old.

This stage is practiced in the water by the parent and child. Some children are natural born fish, are not afraid in the water and are relaxed.

Some are nervous and scared.

The main goal of this stage is to make the child feel comfortable in the water.

It is all about having fun in the water in order to have a positive experience with a person the child trusts.

Swim Seat

The swim seat for level 1 "splashing" is a great way to have your little one in the water with you, but not directly on top of you, so your child builds confidence in the water.
