The LavaCore uses a simple and very effective layering of three materials:an outer durable Lycra protective layer + a waterproof and breathable PU membrane + an inner thermal insulation layer.
LavaCore's unique synthetic construction exhibits comparable flexibility to traditional Lycra while providing the same thermal insulating properties as a wetsuit. In addition, it has a sun protection factor of +30.

This achieves maximum thermal protection when moving in cold water.To ensure maximum integrity and durability of your Lavacore garment, there is cross stitching on the inside of the garment, which locks the thread to the adjacent seam.The seam construction is doubled and flat, which allows for 4 directional stretch in the fabric even at the seam edges.

Proper care is important to ensure maximum comfort and the longest possible life of your new LavaCore clothing. Following these tips will ensure that your product will provide you with maximum thermal protection and comfort for many years:
- Wear LavaCore carefully. Beware of over-scrubbing or stretching your clothes, they should be easy to put on and take off.
- Do not machine wash.
- Wash by hand in cold water after each use.
- Do not tumble dry.
- When drying, hang inside out, on a plastic or wooden hanger, out of direct sunlight.
- Do not store LavaCore folded.
- Store unfolded or hang on a padded hanger.
- Clean zippers and sliders thoroughly after each use and lubricate regularly with a suitable wax.
