Whites Drywear GLACIER 2 Undergarment – highly insulating undergarment
Whites Drywear GLACIER 2 Undergarment is a highly insulating undergarment designed for cold-water diving and for use under a drysuit. It offers high thermal protection thanks to a combination of a durable nylon outer fabric and a dense fleece lining with a weight of 400 g/m2.
The GLACIER 2 is designed as a standalone thermal layer, but you’ll get the most out of it when combined with the GLACIER 1. Layering allows you to adjust thermal protection to different water temperatures and dive conditions.
High thermal insulation for cold water
The outer layer consists of water-resistant and breathable 210-denier nylon softshell. The inner layer features a soft 400 g/m2 polyester fleece, which creates a thick insulating layer and helps retain body heat.
The GLACIER 2 can be used on its own in water with a temperature of approximately above 15 °C. For colder conditions, it can be combined with the GLACIER 1 to create an effective multi-layer thermal protection system.
Practical design for diving
The undersuit is equipped with water-resistant YKK zippers and a practical two-way zipper in the torso area, which makes it easy to put on and provides access when you need to unzip it. The elastic toe loops can be tucked away and hidden if necessary.
Adjustable straps under the feet help keep the base layer in place while putting on a drysuit. There’s also a practical back flap for more comfortable use.
Storage and Comfort
The GLACIER 2 features a large vertical zippered chest pocket and two large fleece-lined pockets that also serve as handy hand-warming pockets.
