The VIK 3.8 folding kayak is made of the best materials that ensure high quality and therefore long life. During development, the kayak has undergone a number of tests of materials and function. The profile of the kayak predisposes it to easy movement through the water. At the same time, the kayak is stable enough thanks to its wider and flat middle section.Back and front overlap and fasten with a toothed lever lock with magnet. Increased stability of the structure is provided by powder-finished aluminium profiles, which are locked with a quick-release aluminium alloy lock and fixed with Velcro. The low centre of gravity of the seat aids stability. This is formed by a carrying system and includes an aluminium profile backrest and footrest. The VIK 3.8 kayak has a self-supporting rigid construction so that the bottom does not flex or ripple when riding on the water. fromthe kayak's wall base is a three-layer polypropylene board that is covered with rubber fabric for improved protection and durability. The edges are reinforced and the overall strength of the product is provided by aluminium profiles with a powder coated surface. The shorter length of the paddle is suitable for people up to 170 cm tall, while the longer paddle is suitable for taller people. The paddle is supplied as a split paddle. The split paddle is more suitable for better handling on dry land, especially for transport and storage. Basic characteristics of the paddle: The material of the blade is hardened high-strength duralumin with inherent strong corrosion resistance, additionally anodized, with a wall thickness of 1 mm it achieves an optimal strength to weight ratio. The duralumin tube of the mast has a diameter of 28 mm and is coated at the gripping point with a ribbed material resistant to mechanical damage. The tubing is pleasant to the touch even in colder weather.
