To nejdůležitější se však skrývá uvnitř: pod lycrovou vrstvou, která chrání proti UV záření (ověřeno 50+), je 0,5 mm silný, výborně izolující neopren. Vlastnosti, které poskytují tyto materiály, nejvíce oceníte při dlouhé výpravě k útesům. Thermo Guards Vás totiž nejen ochrání proti nebezpečnému UV záření, ale také Vás dlouho udrží v teple. Pro výrobu trika firma Mares použila nejmodernější materiál současnosti: super elastický neopren s metalickou vnitřní vrstvou (Metalite)! Tento materiál poskytuje ochranu před vnějším chladem a zároveň udržuje tělesné teplo. Příjemný pocit při nošení zvyšují ploché švy. A jako obvykle je dokonalý také design i barevné provedení. Varianty pánských a dámských (She Dives) trik jsou opticky sladěny s řadou neoprenů Mares. Thermo Guard v dlouhém i krátkém provedení je vhodný nejen ke šnorchlování, ale také jako podoblek.
